Senator Rashidi Ladoja has promised to appoint a substantive career General Manager for the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo state(BCOS) immediately after his swearing in on May 29 next year if voted into power.

In a statement signed by Accord party’s media director Prince Dotun Oyelade, all the stagnated career positions including those of Directors, deputies, assistant directors and other positions will be occupied by staff who have lined up for years hoping to move up the ladder.

The statement condemned a situation where the career path and promotion of staff of the corporation who have put in the better part of their lives are in jeopardy because government deployed politicians to head the corporation and the different departments even when competent hands exist within.

Accord party said that Ladoja’s administration will ensure that career officers not only at BCOS but in other services and parastatals are given the opportunity to reach the peak of their chosen career.

The party described as uninspiring, life- threatening and disruptive, the policy that brings in people from outside to alter the career projection of staff, many of whom are already getting near retirement.
